I purchased some knitting needles from someone from the group before and they marked theirs with rubber bands with dymo tape.  They Brailed out the information but did not remove the tape backing.  They punched a hole for the rubber band and connected the two.

I have a roll up knitting needle holder and you could Braille each compartment.  You would have to make sure that you put the needles back in that compartment when you were done with them.

Hi Again,

 

Requesting help from knitters.  I would like ideas on how you all keep your needles numbered and organized.

 

Back in the day when I only had 3 or 4 pair, the ends had some distinctions that allowed me to keep them straight.

 

However, over the years I have amassed quite a collection of straight needles.  I tried making dimo-tape braille flag-tags with the braille on them at the end of each needle, but they aren't staying.

 

I do have a knitting gauge that I can use to help me determine needle size I got off Amazon, but tends to be time consuming when culling through a pile of needles.

My rounds, I keep in zip-lock bags with their size in a braille label on the front, but what to do with all the myriad of straight needles I just pulled out of years of storage?
