[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Want To Know Wednesday 8/8/18

What I first read your statement, "I would make curtains" I pictured toilet paper rolls hanging one after another strung together with yarn like the beads of the 60's hanging down from a door. Your curtain sounds so much prettier and I am back up off the floor from laughing.

Nella,
I love this type of question! Smile!

I would make curtains. I would use the fabric for the main curtain panels. I could use the yarn for 2 things, 1. I would crochet a pretty edge on the fabric and work the wooden beads into it. I would also use the yarn to braid a cord to hang my curtains. For an extra bonus, I could use the wooden beads on each end of the braid for decoration. You could even use multiple strans of yarn to macramé the cord.

How about that?
Smile!
Tammy

As usual I'm late with Want To Know Wednesday.

Everyone had such good ideas last week, I'm going to give you another craft challenge.

You need to use 3 or more of the following items to create anything you wish. You are allowed glue or needle and thread to hold your master piece together.

Toilet paper tube

Fabric scraps

Left over yarn from other projects

Glitter

Large wooden beads

These are just random items that popped into my little sun baked brain; there is no rhyme or reason to them.

I can't wait to see what brilliant ideas all you great people have.

Nella
