I have always intended to make a collage  out of old greeting cards because
so many are so pretty I hate to throw them away.  So I would use the largest
box I could find and either flatten it or make it stand be itself, depending
on where I would put the collage.  I would cover the edges with construction
paper and glitter, decorate it with yarn and glitter and old fabric scraps.
Since all the cards are not the same shape and size, I need lots of
decoration. Or if I had large enough pieces of fabric, I might use it on the
edges and the construction paper to fill in open spaces between cards. Yes,
of course, I would use glue or double stick tape to hold everything to the
box.  

Now the wringer, I don't get many paper cards any more and probably don't
have a big collection. LOL!  I actually did make a Christmas card streamer
on a wide ribbon once and hung it over the top of a door.

I hope everyone is having a good week.

 

Well, are you up to another craft challenge?

 

I plan on sending these out through the rest of the month to go along with
Christmas in August.

 

We are going to clean out more of our craft closet to make room for those
new supplies that we will be receiving at Christmas.

 

See if you can use five or more of these items in the same project.  You are
allowed the glue of your choice, stapler or needle and thread to assemble
your creation.

 

A box of any size or shape

Old greeting cards

Construction paper

Glitter because we didn't use it up last time, lol

More yarn scraps, any kind or color

More fabric scraps, any kind or color
