Seems like so many families have been touched with this terrible disease.  Both my dad and my grandmother had cancer, so I know how the folks would appreciate something pretty and soft.  You do nice work and I know who ever gets your items will love them.

Yes, this will also give me a way to use up this mountain of yarn in my house.  Lol!  They do except donations of yarn, so if I wanted I could ship it to them.  Smile!

During some surfing I came across the following opportunity to help people with cancer.

Crochet for Cancer, Inc
This is a Christian Organization that collects items that would make the lives of those with cancer a little more comfortable.  According to their site, they except caps, scarves, gloves, socks, blankets, Teddy bears and anything else you can think of that would be soft and comforting. Items can be crocheted, knitted, sewn, etc.

The site has FREE patterns, guidelines and other information.

I just wanted to share this in case you need a home for all of those projects.

They have chapters in the U.S. & Canada.

You can make a difference in a person’s life with your crafts!
