Do you remember the crocheted roses that we all learned from Terry K a couple years ago? Those are roses we can enjoy all year long!
Has anyone learn to make new flowers on the knitting loom yet?
I saw a pattern wants by Brenda Myers for a poinsettia that would be cool if someone could teach that before Christmas or maybe Cindy Zimmer has a new quilling pattern for a poinsettia

Judy: I'm not sure where you live, but when I lived in Arkansas I pruned mine in January or February. When I first moved into the house in AR there were a couple of tall ones like you are describing. The first time I pruned them, I took them down almost to the ground. When they came back in the spring I got a couple of little branches. Each year if it got real tall I would prune the tall part back to a few inches from where the other branches were branching out. Tracy might have better information; I really have little experience with roses. I prefer to put my energy into eatable things.
