Hi Henry. We've had great success having a jeweler replace watch batteries
in an NFB watch, and any other ordinary braille or talking watch.  It's just
the same as replacing the battery in a print watch.  The guy we usually use
charges about $5 for it.

How long do the batteries last in these watches? Terry and I get our watches

from the NFB  Independence store, and to me they aren't worth the money 
because they die sometimes in less than a year.
