[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Dog tree topper idea

I just finished crocheting a star to put on top of my Tiny Yule tree, but
I'm thinking it would be even more fun to make a Labrador to put up there.

I got a couple crochet patterns for stuffed dogs.  I'm thinking I could make
the pattern, stuff the head and paws, but not the body,put something
(paper?) between the stuffed and unstuffed parts, and put it up on top of my
tree.  Any thoughts?
