Hi Joyce,

I compared their prices with what a local craft store charges for the same loops and the difference is very small, pennies. So I bought from Harrisville designs with free shipping, because there was more variety than the store had. I am fortunate to have a friend from church that loves to do sorting and organizing stuff with me. She sorted the variety packs for me. We put a braille label in each bag. 

I had my daughter and son-in-law bring down my yarn stash from upstairs yesterday. Today, my friend and I are going to start the re-sorting to see what I have. One of my goals is to find projects to fit my yarn instead of buying more and more yarn to fit projects. I have 4 giant bins. I like to tell people that they are the size that could be a coffin. It always get a laugh.

My friend helped me sort all of my necklaces and headbands on four tie racks on my bedroom wall. Then we did the ear rings, baretts, bracelets and rings. I have colorful dishes I have bought over the years for each color. We are also going to sort my bin of gift bags. The bin is pretty big, but not as big as the yarn bins.

I broke 2 bones in my foot 2 weeks ago and I have been using the time to rest my foot making a potholder. Then I get up and do more house stuff. I have 12 made. I used to be able to see color and have fun creating different color combinations and patterns.

Harrisville has the original potholder looms and the best 100% cotton loops.  They are more expensive,, but well worth it.

 Bernice have you gotten the variety pack of loops?  I have considered getting the smaller size loops, but as far as the large loops I will pick my 2  packs of colors so I get what I want.

They run "Specialsfor different holidays.  That isn't  too expensive.

Hi Henry,

Love knitting is a web site, I could forward the next sale they send me. Harrisville Designs is a company that sells the only consistently good potholder loops I have been able to find. They have the regular size and the longer ones to go on what they call the professional loom. They have an accessible web site.

I got my other craft present today. It is an x frame with material. On each side of the material project bag there is a piece of material that you can flip out with pockets that can hang outside of the main bag. You can pick up the handle and it closes  and it can be carried easily from room to room. It is quide light weight. It is also from Amazon.

Hi Bernice, that round cylindrical yarn holder etc sounds like a yarn/knitting caddy. Terry and I have a square version.
Are those 2 yarn shops accessible and are they .com sites?

I got this really neat craft bag. It came from Amazon, but I don't know what it is called. It is cylindrical with a verticle divider making four sections. There are holes in the top for you yarn to feed through. Also there are 3 pockets on the outside and four tall thin pockets for needles. I also bought myself 4 books from blind mice mega mall.

There is one more thing coming craft related, but I don't know what it is. 
I also took advantage of yarn sales from Love knitting and Harrisville design.
