We have a new set of rules and we will be giving all of you until Feb. 10th
to send in your points.  So take a look and get working on putting in these
points.

Treasure Hunt for Points

We have updated our contest in hopes of making things simpler and fairer for
all those involved.


All 	 must be paid members of NFB Krafters Division


Points will accumulate from December 2017 until the end of May.


1.	 A monthly door prize will be chosen from the email submissions for
each month.  For any person who received any points during the current
month, their name will be placed in a hat and a winner chosen.  No one
person may be awarded a prize if they had won the previous month. December
and January months will be combined for one prize in the month of January.  

2. There will be two quarterly prizes awarded. The first of the quarterly
prizes will be awarded for December, January and February. The Second
quarterly prize will be awarded for March, April and May. 
The quarterly Prize will be worth up to $100.
The participant accumulating the most points during a given quarter will win
the prize for that quarter. 
 the quarterly prize will only be given to a person that has not been
awarded a quarterly prize before and the person that has accumulated the
most points in the quarter. 

3. GRAND PRIZE
The Grand prize will be awarded to the person who has the highest amount of
points from December 2017 through May 2018. The Grand prize is an award of
$500.

Below is a list of activities you can participate in to earn points for the
monthly, quarterly and Grand Prize contest.  Remember, in order to
participate you must make your submissions of participation via email to the
following address: Kkcontests2007 at gmail.com.


Activities for the duration of the contests:

CLASSES:
Teach an e-mail, phone or pop-up class - 150 pts each.  
First Time Teachers get a 100 point bonus for teaching.  This is a onetime
WELCOME BONUS.
If you have taught before, but not in the past year (2017) score a onetime
WELCOME BACK BONUS of 100 pts. for teaching a class again.   

Teacher: Promote your class on the Krafter's Korner email list, take
attendance in class, send your attendance record to the
kkcontests2007 at gmail.com address, receive 10 points per student in
attendance. 

Student: Attend and actively participate in class.  At the end of class,
provide feedback to your instructor about the class you took as well as
sending a copy of your feedback to the kkcontests2007 at gmail.com email
address. - 100 points.


Point Schedule by the Month. Receive 100 points for submitting a
pattern/recipe to the monthly contest
January Mittens
               February Slippers
               March   Candy
               April       Any Craft
               May       Summer/beach fun

Schedule & teach the craft that you submitted the pattern/recipe for before
May 15, receive the 150 points for teaching the class. Plus 50-point Bonus.
Total 200 points


CHATS
Lead a Monday Night Chat - 100 pts. for each chat.  
Bring in an outside guest speaker for a Monday Night Chat, receive 100
points. 



WANT TO KNOW WEDNESDAY
Answer the Wednesday question and receive 25 points 


OTHER
Refer a new member to Krafters Division. If they become a paid member during
the contest and list your name on their membership form, you score 100
points.

Sponsor a monthly contest - 100 pts.
 
Donate $20 or more to the Kane Brewer Fund, 100 pts.
