[Nfb-krafters-korner] Rug Hooking

A friend of mine bought the multi-color bag of yarn precut. She made the rug
and her little dog sleeps on it on her couch. The little dog was a rescue
and obviously slept on furniture. So, to not drive herself crazy by over
correcting a very sweet pup, this idea came to her and the problem was
solved. The dog loves the rug and she loves the dog on the rug, not on her
couch.

I have shades of blue and light brown with a touch of gold, those are the
colors I would mix together for the hook rug to either lay on an end table
or on my foot rest (dirty shoe marks, no no), or hang on a wall, all very
beautiful ideas.

Hmm, that is a good idea for my foot rest. Anyone want to make one for me?

Contact me off list. The square piece can be sixteen by sixteen or fourteen
by fourteen.

Price shipping included please.

Hi Daniella,

If you choose a geometric design this would be more easily accomplished.

For example, If you were to do something in 2 or 3 colors. Starting from
the center of your canvas, make a square of color 1. Then surround that
square with a layer of color 2. Finally surround that with a layer of color
3. Now the next layer would be color 1 again, then 2 and then 3, etc.

As long as you pay attention to your colors and what you've done so far this
is very achievable.

Hello all, thank you for your responces, Would it be best for me to buy a
kit, or could I buy what I need without buying the kit? Correct me if I'm
wrong, which could be likely, but if I was to buy what I needed on my own,
could I avoid following a pattern by using all one colour on the canvus, can
you buy the canvus where it isn't switching colours? If I don't buy the kit,
what stuff will I have to get?
Thank you
Daniella Roccasalvo
