If the dog is dark, you want darker yarns, lighter, then lighter yarns. I have crocheted several dog blankets. I used a simple double crochet.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Dog blanket

Hi there.
I was wondering if anyone has knitted a dog blanket for their dog?
I have a lab and he is dealing a lot with static electricity. I researched this and it was suggested to get a blanket of cotton or wool.
I don’t want to pay for the price of wool and have lots of cotton.
Any ideas out there?

thanks.

Lovette
