Let me tell all of you what is for dinner Sunday!  I am not going to use the
crockpot this time, but I need to do some figuring so I get everything done
at one time.

I have a pork loin boneless and my Mom brought her spices and stuff over
with a little wine mixed in for me to put the meat in and keep it there
until Sunday in the regrig.  I have potatoes and sweet potatoes and haven't
made my mine up yet, but thinking of scrubbing the potatoes and putting in
the roasting pan with the meat.    And frozen  string beans  

Terry suggested doing it in the crock pot with a can of sauerkraut and brown
sugar, but I was surprise when my Mom came over and told me to separate  the
pork and put in the freezer.  I actually had enough for 4 pork roasts.  

So I will try doing Terry's recipe when I get the brown sugar & sauerkraut.


I have red delicious apples I will cut up and brown in  a pan to serve with
the roast.

Joyce, you keep that crock right where it is, and, you tell J C for all of
us to keep his paws off of it.
And, if he invites himself to dinner, and doesn't like what you cook, give
him 2 choices 1. Go to Mickey D's or visit the King ( as in Burger ) or 2.
Point him in the direction of the PB and J jars.

In speaking to a few others that have vision problems on list I have been
told of a need that can be filled that has nothing to do with crafting but
help. Over the years I have complied a large file on Crock Pot cooking. I
use my pot at least 2 to 3 times a week. It is so simple with my many Dump
and go recipes. I would love to share these things with anyone who might be
interested and help clear up all the misunderstanding of using a Crock pot.
This will not have anything to do with Krafters and will come from private
email, if interested. Each week I will send out some basis helps and
necessary items you need but all will be simple and explained. I will send
you a recipe each week to try and only ask that you might send back a note,
if you tried it or not of interest. Some of the books on this cooking method
are not great from vision impaired so I would like to try doing this
possible through the Spring. If this is something you might be interested in
please send me an email to my address listed below as I would like to begin
the first week in March. There will be different items from meals to fun
dessert all made in the crock, so if you want some help in moving out your
Crock and trying some new things please let me know.
