Tammy, I understand how to work the stitches; I'm just not very good at it. My best crochet project was a stitch sampler where I worked all the stitches; it's like a small table runner. That was a while ago, I knit much more than crochet. 

If you're offering Crochet 101, I'm in. Maybe I have a chance of completing this project. LOL
