Thanks for the info! I’ll have to go over there and give it a try.
Take care!

For GOD so loved the world, he sent his only begotten Son.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Revelry, a tutorial for how to find patterns

I have prepared a tutorial for anyone wishing to use revelry to search for a
pattern. There are other things one can do on Revelry, but this tutorial is
for finding patterns only.

So, Shelley says she wants to make loom knit socks. Let us check revelry for
a pattern.

I first created an account. It is free. Do not worry, they never send any
ads.
Click on the link called patterns.
Click on the link for your type of craft such as loom knitting.
I see that at the moment there are 3211 loom knitting patterns available.
I Use next heading navigation, N, to stroll through the options to refine my
search.
I click on yarn weight.
Below the word weight I down-arrow to the various weights of yarn. I choose
sport weight by pressing enter.
I continue down the page by next heading and press enter on fiber. Then
down-arrow and click on cotton.
I move down by next heading to pattern source type and press enter. . I
down-arrow below that phrase where there is a list of places patterns can be
found and I will click on websites. I see that there are 452 patterns now
available.
I will continue past other options using next heading navigation until I get
to a search button.
I will up-arrow once to the edit field and type in socks and tab to the
search button and press enter.
When the results page loads I will use jaws search command, insert-control-f
and type in my keyword, which is results.
I then, down-arrow a few times and there are my results.
There are 20 sock patterns listed for sport weight yarn in loom knitting.
I can then find out more about a pattern and choose whether I want to
download it.
When deciding whether to download it, I check to see whether it is a written
pattern. I will only choose patterns that are available as a .pdf download
to be certain I can read the pattern.
In addition, I check for the price to see if it is free or for sale.
Ratings often help to determine whether I will get a pattern.
I clicked on the first pattern and it took me to a blog where the pattern
was free and written on the page.
Now all I need to do is copy and paste.
Have fun, and here is a link to that free sock pattern:
