It is called 3Doodler.  They do sell them at Michael's.  I saw a beginner set for $49.99.  Not sure if you can use a coupon with it or not.

My sister told me about a hand held device that, from what I understand, is kind of like a 3D printer, using plastic to make what you want and the device fuses it together.  Does anyone know what it's called, and how it works?  Is it like a hot glue gun?
