If you get this, double check your home owners insurance or if you happen to have a separate electrical line policy. They often will cover a new computer when you have a line surge (lighting hitting the house). Since you are blind, you could petition them to include the JAWS upgrade as you cannot use the computer without it and because any new computer has the new operating system it prevents you from using the old version of JAWS.

There is a guy I know the blind sell list that can get you a nice computer for a couple of hundred dollars (yes, I do realize that even that amount can be prohibitive at times or for some people's income). Let me know if you would like his information.

I am sorry to tell everyone I am still in the middle of computer disaster.
It was bad enough that I had a problem with Microsoft but during one of our thunderstoms, lightening hit my Spectrum Rotor and equipment and into my computer. Yes, they were her for two days and we did som temp.. fixing. All my drivers we gone and they gave me a temp. fix. So dealing with all this. I am receiving most emails and they are stored on my server but it is hit and miss. The answer is a new computer but then a new operating system and updating Jaws, quite an expense right now and just can not do it. To those that have sent your renewal membership or new, I do have these on file and I will send out receits or in July the person will take over membership will send these out. Sorry for any problems, I am working with what I have right now and hope everyone understands. Wishing you all the best till I am back again.
