I have been asked to write a bio for those of you who do not know me. I am behind in doing this, as it has been busy in my house, but here goes.

I joined KK about four years ago and have spent much time in knitting classes, some safety pin ornament classes, a crochet class or two and a couple of loom classes. My best mastery is knitting, though there are techniques I would love to learn and hope to do so this year. One of my best supporters in this is someone I went to school with who is my best resource for available books and materials to shop for. I joined KK in hopes of becoming better at crafts and have been reasonably successful in that. What I appreciate most is the enthusiasm of people and their encouragement.

I grew up in Connecticut, but moved to Massachusetts because of a job offer. While that job was short-lived, it was good enough to get me employed in many hospitals, doctors offices, and eventually I changed careers and worked as a switchboard operator for a well-known hotel.

At this point I am retired and doing the things I love most, taking piano lessons, participating in two music venues, reading, "krafting" and spending time with my wonderful husband. 

I hope to bring new ideas to the board, help with Monday night chats, and occasionally teach a class or two.

Here is an Update and a correction!

There are 2 helpers interested in the Sunshine Committee.
We also have a volunteer for the scholarship committee.  Whoo! Who!

Correction
Apparently, my marbles shifted around when I said that Jeanette was
elected for 2 years.  She is finishing out a term, therefore serving 1
year as a Board Member.

Hopefully, that is all the Oops!  If not, just let me know.  Smile!
