Jill, this would be a great idea if we can come up with the right thing for
the kids.  We would probably need to make enough of an item for the entire
group in one location.  Hats would be easy, but not the right season.
Origami boxes with kid-friendly items inside perhaps; maybe a deck of
Braille cards, a cane tip, and a snack?  I'm not sure what it is called, but
there is something you do with plastic cord for laniards, etc. It could be
made into a gracelet with a large jingle bell on it.  Probably better ideas
if some people are interested.

I have an idea. In conjunction with things that have been previously
discussed, should we consider possibly making and donating craft items which
can be used at our own national Federation of the blind Bell Academy?

Hi again all, I am sending this as a forward because I thought that the
general idea of knitting and crocheting for charity might be of interest to
our members. I understand that KK knit helmets for our soldiers at one time,
but that was before my time. Here is what Krafters Korner was doing back in
March 2012. The KK Charity Group is a special group of the NFB Krafters
Division that is Making items for charity. This year, we are holding all
communications Through Facebook. At the present time, we have been unable to
move the group Over to the official division page, so the group will remain
in its current Location until the end of the division year (July 2012). This
