Yes it is Henry!  I was looking at projects last night.  I think I will host a Chat if Jill has any openings so we can all chat about the differences and then teach a class for those still interested.

Hi Cindy, is this form of dry felting where you punch the fibers into the material with a very sharp needle type of punch?

I have only heard of the wet felting.  Never heard of dry felting!

That is called wet felting.  Some great projects can be made from both methods.

I have done some felting, but not needle felting.  Sounds interesting.
The kind I did was deliberately washing my knitted project in hot water and agitating it a lot, so that the fibers stuck together and shrank.  It was a bit shocking to do, at first.  I made some nifty felt hats that way.

I am getting ready to teach a felting class to a group of 4-H kids.  There is a summer camp called Clover College where I teach this class.  I have taught felting for the past 4 or so years.  The kids are so creative!  I take a vacation day off of work to volunteer to teach this class.

I'm letting my hand rest and heal right now so not doing much other crafts right at this moment.  I do have a few more projects to get ready for convention and Tammy and I were going to make some embossed cards to sell at our table.

Alyssa is moving into her own apartment and I have made her a few things lately like some decorated t-towels, and a crochet towels holder for the stove.

That is about it for now.
