Put a slip knot on left needle.
Go in as if you are to knit, wrap the right needle, bring it backlike you normally do.
Now you have a loop on left needle and a loop on the right needle.
Place loop from right needle on left needle, 2 stitches on needle.
Go into top stitch like you did with the slip knot and repeat.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] a question on knitting
Hi, all, I am having trouble with the knit on cast on. I can't seem to figure out what you do at the last to get the stitch back on the left needle. Youtube videos don't help and I haven''t yet found a good braille explanation. Thanks for any help and breakdown of this stitch. I can long tail cast on, bind off, knit, and purl, and I do this contenintal style.
Thanks and have a blessed day.
