Thank you very much for sharing this with us Sharon. I enjoy learning how 
people from other countries and nationalities make crafts.
Our Church is Philipino based, but, is _All _Inclusive, in other words _All 
_Are _Welcome. Each year the Church holds a Fiesta. The couple of times that 
Terry P and I went, we enjoyed seeing the crafts, foods, music, dancing and 
fellowship of many diverse cultures.
Sharon, Terry P and I commend you for going out and finding the information 
on how to preserve your special purse on your own.

I didn't get to read the article yet.  Did it say how to fix/preserve the 
purse?  I clicked on the article to see what type of material we were 
talking about and it is lovely.  I have seen some things at Church from 
other countries that are made like this.  Beautiful Work!!  Yesterday we had 
the Watoto Children's Choir from Africa perform at our Church.  Wonderful 
music and dancing!  They also brought some craft items to sell.

Thank you for sharing such a fascinating article! I like that after not 
receiving a solution to your crafting issue, you went digging for a 
solution!

Sometimes a crafting question is asked with no real solution given & the 
crafter just gives up or whines because they didn’t get an answer. Sometimes 
it just takes just a simple Google search to find the answer or information 
from several sources to come up with something combined with that thing in 
the other article, to get the desired  result.

Again, thanks for sharing the article & kudos for digging!

Hi,

If you remember, I asked about duct tape, thinking I could preserve my 
Guatemalan purse, but apparently it’s not the best way, and how to do it 
depends on the material it’s made from.  So i looked this up and thought I’d 
share it with you all.  So, since this well might have been made from puffs 
of raw cotton spun into thread.
