[Nfb-krafters-korner] Answer to Terry's question

I don't know if he would join, but I'll talk to him about it. He used to
make custom furniture, but had to give up his shop and down size, so now he
makes smaller items to cell at the farmers market. He buys different kind of
kits like pen kits, needle threaders, seam rippers, wine corks, and pizza
cutters. He turns wood on a lave for them. He also makes a fancy bird house
and feeder.  Some custom signs as well. He built all the furniture in our
home. He does his measureing with a talking tape measure and with many of
his tools he must be very focused on what he is doing.

What can he make?
How does a blind person handle sharp tools.
How does he measure accurately?

Yes  I did introduce myself a while ago. I've been to a couple of the Monday
night chats. I live in Canada.  Tried several different crafts as a child,
but really enjoy knitting. Just this year I have started taking my knitting
to our local farmers market with my boy friend who is also blind and does
wood working that he cells.
