Thanks Terry, but mine is hereditary and mine does not trigger it locks up so it needs to be released.  My left thumb was released last year on the left hand and now it is my middle finger on the right hand.

Has this happened before?
It happened twice to me and both times they gave me a cortisone shot.  They said if it happens again, they might have to do surgery.

So sorry to hear about your father.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  

I had a trigger finger lock up on me and will be having surgery next week on it.  I am not able to work on the hat right now.  Don't worry about your students, there are plenty of others that can step in if needed in your absence.
