[NFB-Krafters-Korner] OT: update on Walmart grocery

Hi all,

 

Just to let everyone know, we just received our order. They called about
fifteen minutes before my one hour window to discuss with us what they
needed to substitute and we  could either choose to substitute or not get
the item. There were about four or five things that needed substituting.
Another interesting thing was that when they didn't have the size of a
frozen entre I ordered, they substituted a larger size which they had for no
extra charge. Another example, they did not have Todd's doughnuts, so they
gave him different kind of doughnuts and since the substitute was less
expensive than his original doughnuts, they gave him more doughnuts. He was
so happy. <smile>

 

Then we  got a text saying that the order would arrive in seven minutes,
which it did.

 

The delivery guy told us that they usually just set the bags at the front
door. But we were waiting for him with the garage open. He said that he was
fine with setting the bags on the table in our garage.

We asked him to let us know which case of pop was which, and he was happy to
do this. Of course we gave him a nice tip.
