There are many different ways of binding off a flat piece. I recommend 
signing up for some of the loom knit classes where you will learn different 
bind off methods that you can put in your files & have many to choose from.

Hi, I've had a brain freeze/brain leak, and I don't remember how to bind off
a straight rake knitted piece. I can needle knit bind off, but not on a
straight loom. Can somebody refresh my memory?? I looked it up in one of
my knitting books by Isela Phelps but I don't understand her directions.
