I think I am missing something.

What is the direction to make the nose?

The tea light, you're speaking of, is it look like a little flat candle?  I
have the battery operated tea lights that have a round base area, and then
coming up out of the center of that there is a plastic flame that lights up.
Is it all on this plastic flame area that you're placing the parts of the
snowman?

A friend gave me the cutest Snowman head yesterday.  I laughed.  Thought I
would share it with you.   
Supplies:
1 battery operated Tea Light
Glue
Scissors
Part of a pipe cleaner *any color for ear muffs Ribbon, any color*4 inches
should be enough for a little scarf Eyes

Instructions
1.  Glue the eyes on close to the bulb.
2.   You can use a very small piece of the pipe cleaner for the mouth.  Glue
it below the bulb
3.  Bend the pipe cleaner into the letter C.  Roll the ends of the pipe
cleaner into small balls.  This forms ear muffs.  With the candle sitting on
your work surface, make sure you orient the face upright.  Glue the pipe
cleaner on each side of the head.
4. Find the center of your ribbon and glue a small portion to the back of
the head.  This is his scarf.  Bring the ends of the scarf around and cross
the ends to form the front of the scarf.  Glue the 2 pieces of ribbon at the
point where they cross.
Lol!
You now have a cute snowman head whose nose lights up and looks like a
carrot.
