Hi Rebecca, you can get Double Rake Looms at either Michaels, Jo Anns, AC 
Moores or on Amazon for around $15 to $20 for a set of 4 looms that range in 
sizes from a total of 24 to 60 pegs.
Hint, try to get them when they are on sale or when you have a Jo Anns 
coupon
Also, some looms have a horizontal groove around the top of the peg to keep 
the yarn from popping off. Some folks don't like that groove, and some 
others don't mind it.

I would not say they are easier.  Some of the things you can do on a round 
loom, you can do on a rake, but some things you can do on a rake, you can 
not do on a rake.
It is good to have a set or two of each.

I have about 4 sets of large gage round looms and one set of rake looms.  I 
have a few adjustable looms that I have not had time to sit down and figure 
out how to work with.

I have an S shaped loom and a Cindy wood afcan  loom.

I usually have multiple projects going at a time.  Also, I want extra looms, 
if my loom has a project on it and a class comes up and that loom is needed 
for the class.

I also find a 24 peg loom, handy as a counting device.  I just move a key 
ring, from peg to peg.

thanks for stepping in  Terry. Kaila, a double Rake Loom is a rectangular or 
oblong shaped loom that has for an example 24 pegs on it that are in 2 
paralelle rows of 12 pegs in each row.
As Terry said you can use both rows in a variety of wrapping methods for the 
different patterns.
You can also use one row of pegs for a single layer of fabric.
