[NFB-Krafters-Korner] New Member Introduction

Hi everyone, 
My name is Deborah MacIlroy and I joined the Krafters Korners group last week. I am very excited about this. I retired last year from the Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration where I was the Assistant Program Manager for the Independent Living Blind program. I live in Mesa, Arizona which is a suburb of Phoenix. While working I really did not have much time to pursue my crafting interests. I have retinitis pigmentsosa  so I have very little peripheral vision, but have had fairly good straight ahead vision. However, in the last few years even this vision has deteriorated. I can no longer do my crafts as I used to do using my vision. So I  have to learn ew ways to accomplish this endeavor. So that is why I am so excited about the Krafters Korner group. I am interested in doing just about anything. I have signed up for the Beginning Crochet group. In the past I have done embroidery, machine sewing and card making by stamping. I would love to learn to quilt also. So I am quite excited about expanding my crafting horizons with you all.
