[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Need to pick some crafty brains out there

I have used this method on dogs and cats. It does not take one or two
times.

This is to keep dogs or cats off the counters.

Get several mice traps and engage the springs and place them upside down on
your counter You can take newspaper and put that on top of the mouse traps.
Now maybe for this kitten you could place a towel on top.

So when they jump up or for dogs put their noses or paws on it the traps
will spring and as I said once or twice is all it takes to scare the---- out
of them. If they forget, just repeat when needed.

I said a towel for the cat as when they jump they will hit it with all
fours.

They won't get hurt, but the noise will make them run.

Lol, thanks for the good laugh, I know that this is no laughing matter to
you though.
I would say to put something heavy on the counter that he can't knoc off,
but, he'd probably figure out a way to get around it.

Hi everyone,

So I have a cat, 6 month old Maine Coon name Oliver, Ollie for short. Well,
he's a not-so-little terror who gets into absolutely everything. His latest
adventure is the kitchen sink. He can turn the fossette on and just plays
with the water. We'd really like to avoid this as besides him getting all
wet, we're afraid the sink will flood. We tried tying a string round the
fossette but, being the smart kitten that he is, he pulled it off. Our
fossette is one that pulls out then you can move it up for hot and down for
cold, he just lays on the counter above and pushes the lever. Any have a
suggestion on how to stop him? We've tried covering the entire fossette,
spicket and all, but that didn't work either, we just found the towels
soaking wet in the sink.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Sarah
