[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Crochet cane holder

I was thinking about that but how wide do I make the flat piece before I decide to sew it up?

The next size up in the round loom is the 24 pig loom but that is really big. Does anybody hear lumen it, and if so do you have any ideas of how to do this?
