[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Starting to Knit Again After a While

Good morning,

There are many different ways to cast on, and I will describe what I think
is the easiest.

Make a loop with a slip knot. Put the loop on what will be the left needle.

Keep track of the short end, and use that loop to knit a stitch.

Put the stitch you just made from the right needle onto the left one. Now
you have two stitches.

Just keep doing this until you have the number of stitches you want on the
left needle by putting the new stitch on the left needle.

Hope this is helpful.
Bernice and the adorable LoLo.

Hey Everyone,
I was on this list some time ago but went no mail or unsubscribed (I cannot
remember which). I was using a different email address.
Anyhow, I know the basic knit stitch and knew how to cast on. Since it has
been quite a while sense I've knitted, any tips on how to start knitting
again? Also, how do I cast on because that's a bit of a crucial step
(smiles).
Thanks.
Christina
