I use the 12 pig loom, I measured the length of the cane folded up, and knitted until my work was a little longer than the cane. After I took the work off the loom I wanted to see if it would fit on the cane. It was very difficult to put it on the cane. The next size up in the round loom is the 24 pig loom but that is really big. Does anybody hear lumen it, and if so do you have any ideas of how to do this?

> I?m about to get a knitting machine. it?s the singer knitting machine and I?m getting it for five dollars which is really cheap. I looked up the model and on Amazon Canada it costs $50-$60, and at Walmart it?s about $24. I figure if it doesn?t work I?m only out five dollars but if it works it may be able to teach me a fair amount so that later on if I want to I can invest in something that does more and costs more. Also because I know no one that machine knits, I don?t even know if it is something a person who is blind could do. I was wondering if any one on this list machine knits and if they would be willing to give me any tips and-or techniques. One main question that I have is how do you know when you have completed a row because you just crank a handle? I know from watching videos on YouTube and reading articles off of Pinterest some people who are cited will paint their starting needle a different color. I am totally blind so that won?t work for me. Could you put a stitch marker on the needle you want to start on and then feel the yarn as it goes by until you learn how much you have to turn to make one row? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

> Hello all,
> I'm about to get a knitting machine. it's the singer knitting machine and I'm getting it for five dollars which is really cheap. I looked up the model and on Amazon Canada it costs $50-$60, and at Walmart it's about $24. I figure if it doesn't work I'm only out five dollars but if it works it may be able to teach me a fair amount so that later on if I want to I can invest in something that does more and costs more. Also because I know no one that machine knits, I don't even know if it is something a person who is blind could do. I am totally blind so that won't work for me. Could you put a stitch marker on the needle you want to start on and then feel the yarn as it goes by until you learn how much you have to turn to make one row? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
