Hi there:

I am trying to understand this pattern and would appreciate any enlightenment from anybody. I thought I understood how to double crochet 2 together. this pattern calls for that in the very first row. How do you double crochet 2 stitches together when you are crocheting into a chain stitch? Thanks for any help.
