My mom.  She was a great knitter.  Some of her sweaters won ribbons at the
state fair.  I have several of the sweaters she made, and some afghans, and
I treasure them all.
When I was a kid, she bought me a braille book which explained how to do
several crafts, including knitting and crochet, and she helped me with both.
I also had a braille book on how to do crewel, a kind of embroidery, which I
enjoyed very much.
