[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Want to know Wednesday

At the school for the blind, the girls were taught to knit in fifth grade. I
grew up watching my Mom sew, knit, crochet, and every craft possible. She
would try to teach me how to some craft from time to time, but she was left
handed, ant that made it difficult. We usually lost patience with each
other. Nevertheless, she was my motivation to keep learning crafts. I had a
wonderful teacher at a Sears store that taught me many many stitches. She
was very patient, and also taught my x-husband how to knit. 

It was kind of funny. If I asked my Mom to help me fix something my
knitting, I always had to turn each of the stitches back the other way on my
needle. 

I knew I made it in her eyes as a knitter when she was looking at an afghan
I made. She was looking for so long, I finally asked her what she was doing.
She said she just couldn't find a single mistake.

to knit and crochet. Is there someone special who taught you how to do your
