Linda, keeping your tension pretty much is having no tension. I pull out the
yarn from the ball. So zero tension there. My left-hand yarns over with a
reasonably light touch. For me the adjustment of the loops give uniformity.
All my loops are the size of my hook, unless I purposefully pull up a loop
larger or smaller to make an affect. Otherwise all my loops are the size of
the hook. In crochet adjusting the loops is very easy.

Crochet)

Hi all,

I heard of this listserv from Becky (Thanks very much Becky.) I live with my
husband and our guide dogs in New Port Richey FL.

I love knitting and crocheting. Right now I am try to work on keeping an
even tension with crochet.

I have been knitting and crocheting for years but crocheting was a little
awkward because I have a little trouble keeping a good tension.

However, the blanket I am working on now seems to be working okay. But I'd
am interested in how those of you who crochet hold working yarn and how you
keep your tension.

I put my knitting away so I can focus mainly on my crocheting.

Thank you for listening and I look forward to know all of you.

Sincerely,

Linda C. Knight
