Thanks so much for running with this.  Since she already knows how to knit, I bet she is just needing some ideas to get her back up and going.  I bet you can help.  I would love to hear about your progress.  If you need more ideas  or help, just let us know.

Just got the person's number from the Sports & Rec president, so I'll call
her this afternoon.  If somehow we can't get on the same wavelength, I'll
let the list know and someone else can try.  So exciting to help someone get
back to knitting!

Hello,
I have gotten an interesting request and am sharing with you.

The Sports and Rec Division of NFB has a member that has given up knitting
because of her vision.  She does not have a computer so any and all
assistance would have to be by telephone.

Would anybody be willing to step up and spend time showing this lady that
knitting does not stop because of vision?  Please let me know.
