Good for you Bernice!  I too went to the casino and won a little.  Not a $1,000, but I did win and had a great time with my sisters for Christmas.

I hope everybody has a wonderful blessed new year. 

 

I had a coupon for $30 free play at a casino near us. My son-in-law took me.
The casino is about 1-1/2 hours away, and it was a great opportunity to work on crafts.

 

Our NFB chapter had an auction at our Christmas party. I auctioned off a kleanex box cover and a decorative box using plastic grid. The person chose variegated blues. The kleanex box cover is like the one I will be teaching in my class. I got quite a lot done in the car today. Also, I work on it when I am at work between phone calls. Working on a craft at work helps me not munch on the crunchy snacks I love. So, I would say it is multi-purpose activity. I complete a craft and keep those empty calories at bay.

 

Oh, by the way. I won $1058.75.
