Hi Becky, if you do teach this and Tunesian crochet again, I will volunteer 
to tag team teach with you.
I like the idea of reversible scarves, I can knit two hats and have one 
scarf for the both of them.

What is cro hook. It is a kind of knitting done with a long crochet hool.
Can't think of the knitting stitch name, but there is a ridge on both sides.
In crochet we call this ripple. Cro hook you take two colors, say navy and
white. You start with a navy chain. Then you pick up the navy loops on your
long hook making them vertical. You pick up the white for the horizontal. So
as you go, one row is navy and white, then white, then white with navy, then
navy. The opposite side of the piece looks different. One side will be more
white, while the other more navy. I love reversable fabricks.

I have seen the hook but I have never tried it.  After watching a You Tube
video, I would like to give it a try.  Sounds pretty cool!
