The first week of January holds a mix of peace and anticipation.  After celebrations with family and friends, quiet time at home, and the end of year inventory, suddenly we are back in the "normal world" again.  Here in the studio, we're sorting out what needs replenishing, restocking, redoing.  Here in myself, I'm finding that my cup does feel more full after that break, and even though January 1st is in some ways an arbitrary point on the calendar, I feel like it's also a chance to reevaluate the things that make up my life.  What's working, what isn't, what I want more of, and what I could do without. 

On the "more" end, I want more time creating: more messy art with my daughter, more time baking, and most definitely MORE TIME WITH YARN.  What do you want more of?  Whatever it is, I hope you make it a priority!
