[NFB-Krafters-Korner] FW: Brioche knitting

It's not really a new kind of knitting; it's a pattern, and colorwork.  I
usually avoid colorwork, as it doesn't really interest me, since I can't see
the color changes.  But the project has different textures, as well as
colors, so I thought it would be interesting.  It certainly is more of a
challenge than I've had in quite some time.
A couple days ago, I accidentally swapped my colors, then had to pull out
the bad rows until I got back to where I'd made the mistake.  It took hours.
Gack.  Not a project to work on when I'm tired.

Hi Cindy.
My 2 balls are distinctly different sizes, so telling them apart is easy. 
However, in the next section of knitting, I think I will have 2 colors of
the same kind of yarn, so I'll keep your idea in mind.

I learned what the brioche looks like.  My one color is multi-color, and the
other is purple.  The knitting is long, vertical ribs.  On one side, the
ridges are multi-color, and the valleys between are purple.  On the other
side the colors are reversed.
My classmate showed me her knitting last night.  She knits looser than I do,
so her piece was relaxed and fluffy.  Mine is tighter, so it's
thicker-feeling than her piece.
