[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Subscription Boxes

I had some of the same concerns but most of the boxes I’ve tried made instructions available online in a fairly accessible format. That said, I’ve never done a crafting project completely from a box without being fairly familiar with the craft beforehand. Maybe I’ll see if there is an interesting spinning box out there and report back.

Also, there are some boxes that are more an opportunity to get a curated selection of craft supplies for less than you might pay retail. Those don’t always have any project instructions and are kind of cool if you just want to increase your collection of beads or specialty yarns or something like that.

I’ve tried knitwise and patchwork parcel, both crafting boxes and ones I liked and my girlfriend who is sighted but does a lot of beadwork and jewelry-making has tried some of the boxes for that, I could ask for a recommendation if anyone is interested.
> As for non craft boxes, I won’t list them all because it would have to be a long list to cover the last ten years but I have received ones for cooking, beer wine, hot sauce, liquor, bar supplies and exotic foods, for beauty products, hair skin and makeup products, and for all kinds of geek gear, cosplay, dungeons and dragons, Buffy and doctor who. I’ve also tried a few couples boxes. If anyone wants to know more about any of those I’ll be happy to help you figure out which ones are worth it.
