[NFB-Krafters-Korner] S loom

It is shaped likethe letter S, with a set of double pegs going around the S, like on the outline of a cubic S.
You use it on a flat surface, so you can turn it to reach different parts of the loom.

You can make a large blanket by looming all the way around the loom, using pegs on both sides of the S or you can make an item as big as you want.
I have found it hard to use my tool in the curve of the loom!

Is the loom actually shaped like an S?  Is the S on its side?  Or is it standing up, so the loom is twice as tall as usual?

Hi Becky, we have 2 S shaped looms. Terry bought hers from either Jo Anns or

Michaels, and I bought mine from someone who bought it from Cindy Wood Crafts.
We'll have to look at the bottoms of each one to see if we can see these holes that you are talking about.
Sometimes it is difficult for Terry to get through the aisles with her walker. we have mentioned this as being dangerous to the store clerks, and they agreed with us.
They are lucky that the fire marshall doesn't pull a surprise inspection on them.

I finally got to touch an S loom at Joanne's Fabricks. Fascinating device.
It has a detail I really like, holes on the bottom. My guess these are for making a dial type  frame to set it on when the piece is to long to hold on a table or your lap. The one I, ahem, took out of the box looked like it was for four ply yarn. Ok, I didn't take it out of the box, but I sure need a ride from this character. I take the blame. She is as nutty or more then I am. They had six of these S looms on the bottom shelf for thirty five dollars, and then my friend said she saw a sell price of twenty nine dollars. The loom made a six foot wide afghan. I sure have ideas to improve the design of this loom.

I was in a tiny transport chair and she had problems wheeling me smoothly around the twists and turns of the isle. The store was not very compliant with the ADA coding out there.
