[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Sock looms

Welcome back Lisamaria.  What size of yarn do they say to use?

I got a sock loom and since you use fingering yarn, very thin or sock yarn, I never tried doing them as I just thought it would take too long to make.

I have tried  knitting socks, but size 3 needles are the smallest I can use and for sock yarn that is a little too large.
Unless you are making tube socks that heel dddoesn't just appear on the loom.  So good luck with this.

I have these sock looms that I purchased. One is, I think, 56 pegs and one is 64 pegs. I’m assuming one is a “women’s” sock loom and the other is a “men’s” sock loom. The only thing is, I don’t understand how to use them. They’re just oval shaped looms. Do I just loom knit like normal and a sock magical sock comes out and Wala it’s beautifully shaped? This seems a little too easy.
