[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Colorwork, was Introduction

I have some knitted directions that are pictures that I bought from Blind Mice. I just don't know how to change the colors so not to leave a whole. I know you wind the different colors onto flat spools. There would be enough room on the flat part to put a couple of braille letters to denote each color.

This brings back memories.  When my baby was a little girl I knitted her sweaters with bunnies, one that had apple trees and apples with clouds, etc.  My baby is 40 now and if I thought about it I probably could still switch colors and carry the other color behind, but that goes back to when I could see.  It would take some thinking out and how to organize the different colors and yes, how to get those picture diagrams # of stitches in what color in a format I could listen and work.

I loved doing that in the past.

I wish there was a better way.... I wonder... what if you put a sliding stitch marker on one color? So then you knew what color it was?
