Class description: 


Description: This phone/email combo class will teach students how to measure
ourselves for a cardigan and then knit the Silver Birch Cardigan from
Premier Yarns:

The class will begin with two phone sessions with the first on 09/13 or
09/15 (alternate) to measure for the correct size and learn the Silver Birch
stitch. We will begin the cardigan in the 2nd session, 09/20 or 09/22. Each
person will then have tutorial sessions by phone or email that will be
arranged until the cardigan is finished.


Skills needed: 


Know how to knit, Purl, cast on, bind off, increase and decrease.


Supply list:


*	Premier Yarns DK Colors #1071-06 Foggy (to match the silver birch
tree's bark), (4-6) skeins
*	circular knitting needle (32-inch or longer) size 7 or size needed
for gauge 20 sts x 26 rows = 4" in Birch Stitch
*	tapestry or darning needle (Lion brand makes the blunt-eye darning
needles that are best)

a usable measuring tape.
