Hi Henry.
I know I’ve seen a horse pattern, for an Appaloosa.  Don’t think I’ve seen a lab, though.  Like Dotty says, Google something like dishcloth horse, and see what you get.

Hi Dottie and everyone, I would like to make a Black lab or horse on a 
sweater if someone could or would teach a class or give us ideas on where to 
look for some outside help like You Tube for an example.

I don't have any little girls to knit for at this time of my life.  I went
blind before my Grand daughters were born.

I do believe if I wanted to do it I could do it at this time.  Just need to
take some time for planning it out and as you said organizing it.

I don't have the time as I am either on the computer searching for
embroidery patterns or embroidering omaking those doggy scarfs with cute
sayings and pictures embroidered on them.

Hello, Joyce and everyone,
Yarn stores and even Walmart sell bobbins for knitting now. These are to
hold the differently-colored yarns. Why not wind your bobbin, close it up so
it doesn't unravel and put a Dymo color label on the outside?
