[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Casting on mohair

I'm trying to start my next summer project, a cotton summer top with a
mohair panel at the bottom.  I'm having a heck of a time casting on with the
mohair.  It's mohair/silk, and very fine.  And very fuzzy.  I made a
mistake, and tried to unravel it, and ended up with a hopeless tangle I just
had to cut off.  My second attempt is not going much better.  

Anyone have any tricks for dealing with thin, fuzzy yarn?
