[NFB-Krafters-Korner] new crafting and new gadgets to talk about

Tracy,

I’m wanting to do this with granny rounds made on the loom & then make a shawl for my mom using the same rounds.

In my mind, they are both very beautiful but will probably be gaudy looking when finished. Lol oh well, if they do, it’s just yarn & I can always rip it out.

I picked 2 granny square patterns that sounded fun, and used them to make
a lacy top. It took 4 squares for the front, and 4 more for the back. I
filled in the sides and sleeves with smaller squares of one of the
patterns, and a bit of plain crochet.
It came out nice, if I do say so myself.
BARD has a book called something like Great Granny Squares, in braille,
full of interesting patterns.
