[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Cutting plastic canvas

Would it work to cut paper into the shape you want, then pin it to the
plastic canvas and cut around it?
We get plenty of junk mail, and sometimes I use it as "blank" paper. Since
it's going in the recycle anyway, it doesn't matter if I make some
mistakes getting it to look like I want.
